Pocket Radar-Pro Performance in the Palm of Your HandPocket Radar is the next generation in radar gun technology. It delivers the same great accuracy as other professional radar guns at a fraction of the cost and fits in the palm of your hand. Its compact size allows you to keep it within reach any time you need it. Pocket Radar allows anyone to afford the same accurate speed measurements as other professional radar guns in a smaller, more convenient package. The hand-held size allows you to take measurements discreetly without changing the behavior of athletes or those you are observing. It can do more than traditional radar guns, including measuring runner speed and acceleration, as well as ball speed out of the hand, and ball speed off the bat, stick, club, or racquet. It is also great for skiing, soccer, R/C hobbies, motorsports, traffic safety, and more. | | | Innovation from the Inside OutThe simple point-and-shoot interface easily allows you to measure speed with the touch of a single button and can take over 10,000 readings from two standard AAA batteries. This allows you to go months, instead of hours, on a single set of batteries. Built from the same high-impact plastic as hockey helmets, the Pocket Radar is rugged enough to perform well in even the most demanding sports environments. |

| How It WorksThe Pocket Radar is a Doppler speed radar system, which works by emitting a small pulse of radio waves in an invisible focused beam, similar to the shape of a flashlight beam. When the radio wave hits an object that is moving toward or away from the Pocket Radar, a small amount of the wave reflects back. The Pocket Radar receives the reflected radio wave and compares it to the original transmitted radio wave, calculates the difference between the two waves, and displays the object's speed--all of which happens almost instantly. Breakthrough TechnologyThe Pocket Radar has received multiple industry awards including the Consumer Electronics Show's (CES) ""Innovation Honoree in Personal Electronics"" award. In creating the world's most compact speed radar device, all aspects of Doppler radar technology have been reassessed, re-engineered, and rebuilt by top design engineers to achieve a unique product that delivers full-sized performance in a miniaturized package. Compared to standard, bulky radar guns, the Pocket Radar is a fraction of the size and weight, and further boasts: - Easy one-button operation with point and shoot interface
- No calibration required
- Portable design with rugged casing
- Memory recall of up to 10 previous speeds
